From Loving You to Loving Me

Like a river once lost in your tides, I flowed toward you, seeking light, Yet in your storms, my soul did break, A fragile child left in the wake. But love is more than just one face, It finds its way, it shifts in grace. The one who came, uncalled, unplanned, Held my heart with steady hands. From loving you to loving me, A journey carved in destiny. The pain once deep has paved the way, For love that chose, not asked to stay. A soulmate heals what sorrow stains, Love remains where love sustains.

The Day I Met My Muse

The Hot Cup of Coffee I Had Last Thursday I stumbled upon the café purely by accident. The rain had been pouring relentlessly for hours, and with the wind against me, getting home by 7 PM as planned was impossible. Peering through my umbrella, I noticed a beautiful headboard that read: "The Cozy Cup - Your cozy corner for every cup." I said to myself, "Let’s just get inside first." I entered, dripping wet, with soaked boots, a messy bun barely holding up, and my overstuffed bag. The moment I set my high heels on the ground, my bun unraveled completely. Somehow, I managed to settle at a window seat, offering a view of the bustling traffic outside, horns blaring in the background. The café played a soft melody called "Sweet Rain," a soothing contrast to the chaos outside. As I glanced out the window, my eyes caught sight of something heartwarming—a little boy shielding a tiny puppy from the rain near a postbox. His small hands created a makeshift shelter, an...

Echoes of the Mind

Why is the weather so cold today? I walk down the street, Warming my hands, second by second. I see everything around me, Yet my thoughts distract me. Neither my eyes nor my mind seem to want to pay attention. Wait... was that real? I ask myself. I glance back down the street, But no, it was just a thought that briefly played a picture in my mind, making it seem real. I continue on my way, When a sound suddenly breaks through my thoughts. The jingle of bells on a door, As though someone is walking beside me. I look around, trying to place the sound, But there’s nothing—again, my mind plays a trick on me, A second time in just five minutes. I turn once more, lost in my thoughts, Waiting for another sound or image, Hoping it might be real, even if only for a moment.

FIRST LOVE

To the one who quietly found their way into my heart, without me even realizing it—yes, I’m talking about you. The one who brings a gentle smile to my lips, a twinkle to my eyes, and a flutter in my heart. You may even be the reason my thoughts wander, lost in a world beyond my own. You are the reason I wake up each day, holding onto the hope that we’ll meet soon. I find myself silently asking God to keep that beautiful smile on your face, the one that lights up each of your days. I tell myself I miss you every hour, yet sometimes reality hits me, reminding me of where you are now. And maybe, just maybe, be the one who helps me chase my dreams, only to lose myself in thoughts of you—until the day, or the night, when we finally meet.
